About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking to hire a highly motivated sales professional for the position of District Sales Manager in the Middle Tennessee territory of Mueller. This teammate will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for the profitable growth and market development of the territory while contributing to the growth of the Murfreesboro, TN Mueller Branch location. Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Mueller in the market with a primary focus on simple metal buildings Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient Ability to work with a variety of Operating Systems

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Cornerstone Building Brand’s associates, customers, subsidiaries and agents
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and competition to develop strategic responses to opportunities
  • Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential
  • 50-70% travel in market

Nice To Haves

  • Building Materials experience. Pre-engineered metal building, pole barns or metal roof and wall system experience is most preferred
  • Understanding of construction process
  • Strong understanding of Drafting, Estimating and Inside Sales
  • Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications

  • The US base salary range for this role is $65,000 + sales incentive plan + car allowance + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
