About The Position

The Metallic District Sales Manager will cover defined areas within the following mid-Atlantic States: Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey To maximize sales within the Territory, the District Manager will be expected to service existing Builders in the Territory and recruit New Builders. Direct Sales to Customers will be permitted and encouraged when appropriate and not interfering with the Territory of an Established Metallic Builder.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience, 5+ years of experience in Building Materials
  • Experience within the pre-engineered building space preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Cornerstone Building System’s associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents
  • Must have thorough understanding of construction process
  • Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities
  • Strong understanding of Drafting, Estimating, and Inside Sales
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential
  • Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • 50-70% travel in market

  • Experience within the pre-engineered building space preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals
  • Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account
  • Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient
  • Ability to work with Operating Systems
