About The Position

The role of the District Sales Manager consists of, but is not limited to, providing industry leading service, developing a rapport with customers, prospecting for new business, operating as a liaison between customers and Nucor operations, forecasting, and proactive problem solving to help the team achieve revenue, shipment, and profitability goals. This position will require extensive travel and face-to-face interaction with customers that will result in powerful partnerships and powerful results. Candidate will spend quality time at the Nucor's Bar Mills, working closely with plant leadership and the commercial team to increase customer engagement. Safety is the most important part of all jobs at Nucor; therefore, candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures always.
