DH Pace Company aspires to hire an experienced “Selling” Sales Manager based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia covering Atlanta and Athens and the surrounding areas. Will lead and support an outside sales team of commercial sales representatives selling door and door-related products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years Business to Business Sales Management experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years outside Business-to-Business sales experience selling technical/mechanical products in the commercial sector.
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma with some college and/or a minimum of five (5) years Business to Business outside sales experience and three (3) years of Business-to-Business Sales Management experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability for technical applications, mechanical systems, and problem solving.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Prior estimating experience generating proposals and submittals.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Meet both personal and team sales objectives and goals.
  • Dedicate time to learning a vast line of products and services.
  • Acquire new accounts and introduce existing customers to new products and services.
  • Call on commercial and industrial business owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, hospitals, and General Contractors.
  • Comfortably cold call and hunt for new business.
  • Accompany sales reps to ensure they are reaching their full potential when engineering door solutions for customers.
  • Develop scope of work for proposals and handle details from initial customer call through closing a sale.
  • Be proficient with Windows based programs and sales tools.
  • Ensure each sales rep is handling the proposal process as expected to minimize errors.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
