District Manager/ Registered Dietitian
About The Position
Nutrition Management Services Company is offering an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Registered Dietitian to oversee the clinical care of patients in several Cerebral Palsy group homes located throughout the boroughs of Queens, Bronx and Staten Island. This position requires an RD who is interested in combining their clinical competency with some management responsibilities to ensure that the patient’s nutritional needs are addressed and appropriate sanitation standards and food safety regulations are adhered to. This position does require some traveling from site to site. Part- Time 2 days per week (16 hours). Travel to multiple locations.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist
- Caring Professional
- Understanding of various modified diets
- Ability to work with and coach a senior staff
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within small group homes preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Completing timely clinical nutrition assessments and progress notes for the patients living in the Cerebral Palsy homes.
- Conducting monthly in-services to the cooking staff and helping to prepare the staff for state audits.
- Weekly meal observations
- Assist with menu planning as needed.
- Collect invoices from cook managers, complete biweekly purchase summaries and report on food costs.
- Bi weekly payroll.
