About The Position

Primary Responsibilities Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing the monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives and company initiatives Manage inventory expenses in accordance with company policy Administer, educate and train employees to ensure the execution of company goals and priorities Maintain a high level of industry knowledge: Red Bull, beer, non-alcohol, food journals, trends, market share, etc. Maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with those you interact with while working Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, in-market surveys (MVPs), expense report, mileage log, etc. Monitor competitive activity and communicate strategies Interact respectfully and maintain dialog with inter-company departments, suppliers, and customers Create reset opportunities and develop retail promotions appropriate to customer base Effectively sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts Ensure Red Bull Perfect Store Standards are followed and implemented in all accounts Have a thorough knowledge of all decision makers in each account Conduct promotions in assigned accounts monthly as required Sell required product/brand features each week (i.e. "Promotional Monthly deals") Minimum visibility in assigned accounts needs to be equal to competition Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2-3 years previous sales experience preferably
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Active listening skills/listening for intention
  • Dealing with difficult personalities/conflict resolution
