District Manager - Public Sector Description - Job Summary This District Manager role supports Public Sector East and is responsible for setting clear sales objectives aligned with organizational goals, crafting and executing effective inside sales strategies, and managing sales pipelines. The role manages inside sales representatives, evaluates team performance, and facilitates training for their skill enhancement. The role stays updated with the latest advancements in the market and integrates customer feedback for improvements in the organization’s offerings.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manages account planning while maintaining a sales pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities to meet revenue goals.
  • Assists sales teams in customizing solutions tailored to client needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of client challenges, and aligning the organization’s capabilities with their objectives.
  • Conducts thorough performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and establishing individual development plans to foster growth.
  • Manages the budget, making resource allocations, monitoring expenses, and striving for cost-effectiveness.
  • Seeks and integrates customer feedback to drive enhancements in products and services, thereby refining the inside sales process for overall customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitates training and development programs to empower the inside sales team with enhanced product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
  • Conducts regular sales meetings to address challenges and share best practices while keeping the team informed, aligned with goals, and motivated.
  • Keeps up to date with sales technology, CRM systems, and other tools to improve efficiency and productivity in the sales process.
