About The Position
As a District Manager at Michael Kors, you will be at the forefront of leading multiple store locations within Texas. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all aspects of the business are managed effectively, from recruitment and talent development to operational excellence and strategic planning. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive and high-performing team that embodies the brand's values and delivers an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will inspire your teams to achieve their goals while maintaining the brand's standards and profitability. In this dynamic position, you will develop and implement strategic plans aimed at driving incremental sales. This involves identifying merchandise and inventory opportunities and leveraging cross-functional partnerships to enhance store performance. You will also play a crucial role in recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining top Store Managers, ensuring that succession planning is in place to foster future leaders within the organization. Regular evaluation of team and individual performance will be essential, as will providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be tasked with resolving human resources issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with HR when necessary. Staying informed about market insights and trends will be critical to your success, as you will need to adapt strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business. Your ability to manage time effectively while leading and developing teams both remotely and in person will be key to achieving operational excellence across all stores.
