About The Position
Golf Galaxy is seeking a people-first District Manager to lead operations in the Southeast district. The District Manager will drive profitable sales and business performance by meeting or exceeding established objectives in sales, store contribution, KPIs, expenses, general profit and loss categories, and program metrics. They will analyze and evaluate product and performance data to drive key item and department performance, identifying store opportunities to work collaboratively with corporate business partners to remove obstacles in order to drive profitable sales and achieve store plans through entrepreneurial leadership. The District Manager will ensure that stores are delivering on our Common Purpose and Hassle Free experience for each of our teammates and athletes, helping store teams focus on driving the Equipment business, Fitting protocol, and Special Order business within each store. They will deliver and execute plans that enable store teams to create engagement and loyalty in each community, with a deep understanding of each store's customer base to ascertain specific needs and empower Store Managers to pursue specific product needs for their market. The District Manager will monitor competitive activity to develop and implement an effective business strategy for the District, leading by example and fostering an athlete-focused culture that drives sales. They are expected to visit each store at least once every two weeks.
