About the position
A District Leader at COUNTRY oversees and supports exclusive agents in marketing, selling, and servicing the company's products and services. This role involves developing agency business goals, delivering training, implementing policies, and acting as a liaison between agents and the home office. Responsibilities
- Recruits, tests, selects, and retains new agents following COUNTRY's procedures.
- Advises agents on best practices for selling and managing a successful agency.
- Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and information security procedures.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by preparing budgets and analyzing variances.
- Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and participating in professional societies.
- Manages the implementation of disaster recovery plans in assigned areas.
- Fosters a positive environment to motivate team members and support decision-making.
- Takes personal responsibility for making decisions and adapting to achieve results.
- Implements practices to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty, Life/Health licenses (must complete within 30 days of hire).
- SIE, Series 6 and 63 licenses (must complete within 6 months of hire).
- COUNTRY Financial Advisor Program certification (must complete within 9 months of hire).
- 8+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training, including management experience.
