About The Position

As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with leaders in the planning process to ensure that strategic plans drive business results, optimize customer service, and align with company values. You will contribute to the development of people strategies that support business strategies and objectives, helping to drive business and organizational performance. Your role will involve supporting and influencing key operational and strategic decisions while understanding the general business conditions that affect your industry, functions, and geographical regions. You will stay current on research and trends within HR to present an informed point of view. You will identify development solutions and provide consulting to leaders on how to effectively accelerate the development of associates through exposure events, project assignments, and coaching. Promoting high performance through coaching, constructive feedback, and the annual performance evaluation process will be essential. You will provide guidance and consultation regarding leading people and organizational management practices to develop site people leaders. As a member of the leadership team, you will encourage associates and people leaders to embrace new philosophies, technologies, and company initiatives. Your responsibilities will include partnering with site leadership to engage and coach associates on the floor to promote a customer service culture, providing input to HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) regarding specific functional strategies, and serving as an advocate for business leaders and managers. You will leverage human capital expertise to advise and hold sites accountable for sustaining engagement action plans, using organizational diagnostics to proactively identify and react to key talent and employee engagement challenges. You will also promote the adoption and effective use of company programs such as reward, recognition, talent, and communication programs. Additionally, you will participate in the interview and selection process for site people leaders, lead talent assessment and development discussions, and coach leaders on change management strategies. You will develop and implement plans to ensure exceptional results from change initiatives and align communication plans with company strategy. Your role will also involve supporting strategic community outreach and engagement, as well as all aspects of HR during new site openings, closings, or relocations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience demonstrating increasing responsibility.
  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing or supervising others.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in multiple locations.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing or supervising others, including direct report responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, adapting, or facilitating training.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Professional in Human Resources).
