About The Position
The District General Manager serves as the lead manager overseeing the Civic Center Campus. The position is responsible for numerous facilities (close to 2 million square feet) in the Civic Center, including City Hall, satellite assets outside Civic Center, and Alemany Farmers' Market and Alemany Flea Market. This requires interaction with department heads and elected officials, members of the public patronizing said locations, and managing and directing a diverse team of experts in property and building management -trades/engineers/laborers, building/property managers, transaction agents, and a variety of vendors and contractors delivering services in these locations.
