About The Position

An English Learner (EL) Educational Aide will work closely with the EL teacher and classroom teachers to support teaching the English language to non-native speaking students. This position is located in the North College Hill City School District and reports to the Principal & Pupil Personnel Director. The employment is available immediately.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Highly Qualified Aide permit under ESEA.
• Pass the Parapro exam and submit the official score report.
• Must have an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or at least two years of study (48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) at an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Support the EL teacher in teaching English language to non-native speaking students.
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional strategies for English learners.
• Provide individualized support to students as needed.
