About The Position

The District Director of Talent Acquisition at Tarrant County College is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring processes for the college. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ten years of working experience related to talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Three years of experience supervising staff.

  • At least one year of experience in a higher education setting performing essential performance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the college's Veteran's Liaison as required in Tarrant County College Board Policy DI.
  • Partner with the Executive Director and Chief Human Resources Officer to implement HR strategies for improving hiring and recruitment practices.
  • Oversee assigned recruitment and talent acquisition personnel on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and business practices to enhance organizational efficiency and service to HR stakeholders.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding talent acquisition and recruitment policies and compliance issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify and recommend changes in policies and procedures in collaboration with department leaders.
  • Liaise with applicant tracking system (ATS) vendors to stay updated on system improvements.
  • Collect and analyze hiring and recruitment data accurately and timely.
  • Provide human resources consulting services to college leaders and employees.
  • Interpret TCCD policies and procedures for internal and external customers.
  • Train supervisory personnel on hiring policies and procedures.
  • Guide customers regarding assigned functions based on laws and internal policies.
  • Participate in workgroups and committees to support organizational initiatives.
  • Manage personnel evaluation and development of assigned direct reports.
  • Develop internal policies and workflows for continuous improvement of HR operations.
  • Ensure accountability for college and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Build rapport with HR customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive image to customers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in external community organizations to support performance requirements.
  • Attend work regularly and punctually, completing required training and professional development.
