District Chef Needed for School Food Service
About The Position
District Chef needed for school food service program in the Monmouth County, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full time, 46 week position. Some occasional nights and weekends are required for special functions. Chef experience is is required. Must be willing to submit to a chef test. Traveling throughout the district is required. Able to work in a fast pace team environment. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools. Must have experience in catering, and satellite preparation. Culinary, K-12 experience preferred. Some training of staff may be required. Creating different menus items while adhering to school food service guideline NSLP. ServSafe® certification is required.
