About The Position
District Chef needed for school food service program in the Bloomfield NJ area . Monday through Friday, Full time day shift. Chef experience is mandatory, must pass a chef test to be considered. K through 12 experience preferred. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced team environment.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing school food service operations.
- Menu development following the NSLP guidelines.
- Must be willing to travel within the district.
- Managing kitchen staff ensuring food safety/ sanitation.
- Controlling inventory/budgets.
- Training, record-keeping, quality control.
- Maintaining clean efficient kitchens.
- Supervising food preparation for students and special events.
