About The Position

The District Asset Protection Manager is a key role within the Intermountain Division Office located in Idaho Falls, ID, reporting to the Director of Asset Protection. This position focuses on implementing asset protection initiatives to safeguard stores within the district, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and reducing shrinkage through proactive strategies and investigations.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to conduct investigations with good interviewing skills; Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in asset protection.
  • Leadership qualities to develop the Asset Protection Specialist team.
  • High energy and solution-focused efforts with a passion for investigations.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Promote adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to ensure compliance with operational processes related to shrink reduction, loss controls, and physical security.
  • Have knowledge of CCTV systems, camera installation, and exception reporting applications.
  • Analyze sales and shrink data to provide profit improvement solutions.
  • Implement proactive Asset Protection and shrink reduction initiatives for all stores.
  • Investigate internal and external theft, misappropriation, and fraud issues using CCTV and data analytics.
  • Investigate employment-related allegations as requested by Human Resources and Associate Relations.
  • Assist in training store management and associates on shrink awareness and operational processes.
  • Coordinate and perform audits in retail stores and prepare reports for management review.
  • Support store teams and build strong relationships with Store Management and associates.
  • Promote open communication with all business partners.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and approach stores with a customer-focused mindset.
