About The Position

Scientific Drilling is looking for a District Administrator to work at our District Office in Midland, TX. Scientific Drilling is an independent directional drilling and wellbore navigation, surveying and logging Service Company serving customers worldwide. Our industry leading navigation systems provide definitive wellbore placement information, enabling safer and more efficient placement of tightly spaced wellbores throughout the world. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide secretarial and administrative support to the District management team. Organize all aspects of travel and accommodation for District field personnel. Job Number/Work Order tracking and coordination with field departments concerning job scheduling, duration, customer requirements. Work with District Manager and Sales personnel in providing customer requested information, quotes, documentation as required. Perform other tasks as directed by the District Manager and corporate HR management. Track and verify all field personnel hours. Assist in the approval of all field and shop personnel timesheets and expense reporting. Assist in the daily tracking and documentation of district activity and revenue. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience required. SAP experience preferred High degree of speed, accuracy and attention to detail in daily work. Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in accordance with dress code and Code of Conduct. Ability to meet all safety requirements. Ability to read, communicate, and understand the English language. Ability to be a team player/builder. Adhere to established Company procedures and policies, work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of general office experience preferred. Location, Physical Requirements & PPE: Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 25 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle. Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation. Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include, but are not limited to, computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, telephone, and vehicles. Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, safety glasses, hardhat, reinforced toed shoes, coveralls, gloves, and ear plugs or muffs.
