Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or equivalent work experience required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SAP.
• Strong ability to track and measure financial data and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Prior Staff Accountant experience strongly desired.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during the month-end close as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day payroll functions, including new staffing set up, commission calculation, quarterly bonus analysis, PTO accrual & reconciliations.
• Oversee Inventory processes, including weekly verifications, review & approve inventory adjustments and overall variance.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly reporting.
• Assist in period-end close, as related to inventory & payroll, ensure accurate general ledger representation, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across AZ operations.
• Interact with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Manage office team of 2-3 associates, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Maintain office hours of 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (with flexibility to cover staff as needed).
