Knife River is looking for a motivated Distributor Operator for the Idaho Division. Applicants may be asked to travel throughout Idaho from time to time. Applicants may be asked to work a variety of shifts including weekends.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement and a current medical card is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with all DOT regulations.
• Safe driving record is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate distributor truck for asphalt application.
• Perform pre-trip inspections (PTIs) at the start and end of shifts.
• Load and heat up asphalt for jobs as needed.
• Spray asphalt oil at the correct rate for the job.
• Maintain the spray system as needed.
• Assist in running the water truck as needed.
• Collaborate with paving/chipping crews during the summer.
