The position requires a high school education and welding experience. The candidate must be able to operate gas construction equipment and obtain necessary certifications such as pipeline welding, plastic fusion, and SCBA. A strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are essential. The candidate must possess or acquire a valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license appropriate for the position, and must be at least 21 years old to obtain a CDL valid for interstate travel. Additionally, a valid Crane Operators Certification is required. The successful candidate must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations and must take necessary measures to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attacks, damage, or unauthorized access. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required, and no sponsorships will be considered. The candidate will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks and must successfully complete the applicable Apprenticeship Training Program. The ideal candidate will be a certified welder qualified in the operation, maintenance, and construction of a gas distribution system or have equivalent field experience acceptable to the company. Proficiency in hydraulics operation and maintenance is also required. The candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with good written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and must have a strong commitment to exceed customer needs and grow the company's regulated and non-regulated businesses.
