About The Position

The position requires a high school education and welding experience. The candidate must be able to operate gas construction equipment and obtain necessary certifications such as pipeline welding, plastic fusion, and SCBA. A strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are essential. The candidate must possess or acquire a valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license appropriate for the position, and must be at least 21 years old to obtain a CDL valid for interstate travel. Additionally, a valid Crane Operators Certification is required. The role involves performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations and taking necessary measures to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attacks, damage, or unauthorized access. The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as no sponsorships will be considered. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are mandatory. Successful completion of the applicable Apprenticeship Training Program is required. The ideal candidate will be a certified welder qualified in the operation, maintenance, and construction of a gas distribution system or have equivalent field experience acceptable to the company. Proficiency in hydraulics operation and maintenance is also necessary. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with good written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and must have a strong commitment to exceed customer needs and grow the company's regulated and non-regulated businesses.
