Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid and Active Texas Driver's License Upon Hire
  • On-site training will be provided to employees to operate reach trucks and other similar equipment. Employees are not permitted to operate this equipment until completion of training and certification. Certification is required within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

  • Completes and maintains all job performance requirements and standards as outlined in UT Southwestern and Department policies.
  • Receives medical supplies and equipment in warehouse management system and databases.
  • Loads and unloads trucks utilizing material handling equipment.
  • Ensures all pallets are secure and stable for transportation and handling.
  • Prepares, picks and stages orders for delivery to customer.
  • Conducts putaway function ensuring items are properly organized and stored in designated locations.
  • Performs inventory functions including cycle counts as directed.
  • Operates reach truck, order selector, and pallet jacks (Electric/Manual).
  • Picks up and delivers medical supplies and equipment to/from UT Southwestern Hospitals and Clinics.
  • Utilizes passenger van, cargo van, and 26‿ box truck to deliver supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness of warehouse including removing boxes/packing materials and sweeping.
  • Compliance with all OSHA and safety requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
