About The Position

The Distribution & Warehouse Supervisor is a hands‑on, working lead role responsible for executing daily warehouse, shipping, and distribution activities while providing floor‑level leadership. This position works alongside Warehouse Associates to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently, and provides leadership coverage for the Distribution & Warehouse department. Attention to detail, safety focus, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or shipping operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 1+ year of experience in a supervisory, lead, or working‑lead role.
• Hands‑on experience with core warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Experience coordinating shipments and handling shipping documentation.
• Experience supervising, training, and coaching warehouse employees.
• Working knowledge of inventory systems and computer applications.
• Forklift and material‑handling equipment experience required (certification required or ability to obtain).

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years of warehouse or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead daily warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day inbound and outbound shipments, including preparation and review of shipping documentation.
• Direct and support Warehouse Associates by setting daily priorities and monitoring workflow.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment and safe work practices.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory movements, and material verification to support inventory accuracy.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, housekeeping standards, and company policies.
• Identify operational issues and escalate concerns with recommendations for improvement.
• Support training and cross‑training of warehouse employees.
• Maintain accurate warehouse and shipping documentation.
