About The Position

The Distribution Warehouse Manager at the Servco Parts Center is part of the warehouse management team overseeing various functions including delivery, receiving, storage and shipping of automotive parts and accessories; safety and security of merchandise, warehouse facility, and equipment; management of personnel; and compliance with company and government regulations. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two to three years of warehouse supervisory experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge and Oracle or Logfire preferred
  • Able to operate forklift, picker and other material handling equipment
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and be a team-builder and team player
  • Organized, detail oriented, strategic thinker with good follow-through
  • Must be proactive, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift, Picker, and Hazmat certification preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Auto parts warehouse experience preferred
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge and Oracle or Logfire preferred
  • Forklift, Picker, and Hazmat certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversees delivery functions including dispatching pick tickets and drivers, handling customer concerns including road and weather conditions and driver complaints, vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Oversees shipping functions including ensuring pick tickets are invoiced and checked timely and accurately to ensure drivers depart on time as scheduled, and documentation is good and logged and filed
  • Oversees receiving functions to ensure the correct part and quantity was received and in saleable condition, ensure parts are correctly scanned and stored in proper bin location, and document damaged parts so claims can be filed on a timely basis
  • Oversees all special projects (such as bin maintenance, cycle counting, resourcing and scrappage), returns, critical parts receiving, Neighbor Island Shipping, claims and core management to assure that all are completed timely and accurately
  • Receives and resolve customer concerns
  • Adheres to all warehouse safety standards and initiatives and complies with all government and company compliance measures and promptly reports safety issues and anticipates and reports potential safety issues to Parts Distribution Manager
  • Supports other SAPC departments in tracking down missing invoices, assists sales team with last minute add-ons to delivery
  • Looks for new ways to improve efficiency and productivity in all warehouse departments from initiating to planning and final implementation
  • Assures appropriate personnel headcount in all warehouse positions
  • Maintains performance of all warehouses and delivery personnel by appropriate selection, on-boarding and orientation, training and developing personal growth, including counseling and periodic performance reviews
