A Brief Overview The Distribution Technician position is responsible to receive, stock, inventory and deliver supplies from General Stores to Tidelands Health facilities. What you will do Receive and stocked supplies and equipment shipped to the Distribution Center Responsible for routine and STAT supply and equipment requests and distribution to designated areas. Responsible for proper Inventory Control of General Stores. Accurately record every supply transaction, including verbal (call-ins) or walk-in orders, handwritten or on-line requisitions. Must be able to utilize, load and unload distribution vehicles appropriately. Perform basic maintenance checks (air in tires, oil levels, etc). Takes vehicle to shop for maintenance as required and on schedule. Responsible for obtaining and retaining DOT certification and hospital insurance credibility

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Satisfactory references from present and/or previous employers Required
• Record of being able to perform manual labor Required
• Basic personal computer familiarity required.
• Communication and strong interpersonal skills required.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills required.
• Demonstrate ability to safely drive 24-foot box truck per CDL guidelines
• Must have valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record as outlined by hospital driver policy
• Medium-Heavy Physical Demand
