TRC is seeking a Distribution Technician to assist with inspecting power distribution poles for our clients. TRC is currently hiring a Distribution Field Technician. This position will be working within our Power Distribution Engineering team and a part of our growing Power Sector. This position is responsible for performing visual inspection of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment, compilation field data collection, minor work order preparation, and maintenance reports of distribution equipment. Provide assistance with storm damage assessments to OH and UG distribution structures and equipment for areas in and out of state.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Clean and valid Driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of computers and software applications desired (MS Office products) preferred
