As a Distribution Team Member, you will support the distribution team in a fast-paced environment that runs smoothly and effectively. You will learn to become proficient in loading and unloading contract trucks, providing ingredients to production lines, and moving finished product once produced. In this role, you will be a crucial team member in ensuring that production starts and continues toward achieving daily goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food production or manufacturing preferred.
  • Upon hire, required to complete the following certification: PIT (forklift, power walkie, etc.)
  • Ability to work as a respectful team member within a collaborative team.
  • Ability to utilize email, Microsoft applications, and other internal software for daily communication between facilities, shifts, and departments.
  • Flexibility is essential in Rhino’s ability to respond to short-term demands and ensure smooth operations during busy times. You may be involved in voluntary overtime or temporary assignments that result in extended shifts, weekend shifts, work completed on a different shift, or at another Rhino location, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and organize necessary materials, packaging, and supplies according to production specifications.
  • Plan the order in which materials are loaded onto trucks and the frequency of deliveries needed to the distribution center based on production schedule.
  • Load trucks with finished goods.
  • Load pallets and operate pallet wrapper.
  • Properly report, remove, or correct damages prior to transfer of material.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials within the warehouse.
