About The Position

As a Distribution Systems Technician I, you will be involved in the general installation, maintenance, and upkeep of Company facilities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment, as well as the Company grounds and facilities. You will assist Distribution System Technicians II and III in the performance of their duties and participate in Peak Shaving activities. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of Company safety rules, regulations and procedures
• Keen sense of smell
• Knowledgeable in safe operation of tools and equipment and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Basic principles of natural and propane gas
• Operator Qualified for position
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) for combination vehicles and air brakes preferred with responsible driving history
• Mechanical aptitude
• Conscientious work ethic

Responsibilities

• General installation, maintenance and upkeep of Company facilities
• Maintain assigned vehicle, tools and equipment
• Maintains Company grounds and facilities
• Assist Distribution System Technicians II and III in performance of duties
• Assist in Peak Shaving
• Perform other duties as assigned
