About The Position

The Distribution Systems Technician I will be responsible for general installation, maintenance and upkeep of Company facilities, maintaining assigned vehicle, tools and equipment, and assisting Distribution System Technicians II and III in performance of duties. The role also includes assisting in Peak Shaving and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of Company safety rules, regulations and procedures
• Keen sense of smell
• Knowledgeable in safe operation of tools and equipment and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Basic principles of natural and propane gas
• Operator Qualified for position
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for combination vehicles and air brakes preferred with responsible driving history
• Mechanical aptitude
• Conscientious work ethic

Responsibilities

• General installation, maintenance and upkeep of Company facilities
• Maintain assigned vehicle, tools and equipment
• Maintains Company grounds and facilities
• Assist Distribution System Technicians II and III in performance of duties
• Assist in Peak Shaving
• Perform other duties as assigned
