About The Position

Nirvana Cannabis is seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cannabis distribution team. This role is responsible for supervising distribution technicians, coordinating delivery schedules, and ensuring the efficient and compliant distribution of cannabis products to retail locations and dispensaries.
The Distribution Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by overseeing order preparation, monitoring deliveries, and supporting inventory accuracy. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, or transportation.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams and workflows effectively.
• Applicants must meet all state eligibility requirements for employment in the cannabis industry, including background checks and obtaining or maintaining the appropriate agent licensing where required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Knowledge of cannabis distribution regulations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for operating company delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the distribution team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring team members follow company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Train new technicians on distribution workflows, safety protocols, and compliance expectations while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and routes, overseeing order preparation to ensure accuracy, and monitoring delivery operations to ensure products are handled properly and arrive on time.
• Support inventory management through routine inventory counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation of discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained during packaging, handling, and transportation while working closely with production, inventory, and quality assurance teams to address any issues that arise.
• Communicate with retail partners and dispensaries to address delivery concerns and maintain strong professional relationships.
