Distribution Supervisor
About The Position
About the Role: The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the driver and fulfillment teams in our South Markets (and any additional new markets as they are launched). In our start-up environment, every day will bring on something new, you’ll handle driver training/supervision, driver badging, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, line-haul load-outs, hiring, and helping with expansion into new markets. The role will also include vehicle and facility oversight and maintenance in the South market as well as the ability to jump into the field and cover routes and any other tasks as needed. The typical shift for this position is Monday through Friday, 3 AM - 11 AM, but will need flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Location: 1212 Dolton Dr #302, Dallas, TX 75207
Requirements
- Experience managing team members in an operations/warehouse setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Google Suite of products and/or Microsoft Office, Zendesk, Slack, CMS, Asana, Bridge,UKG, and Routific
Responsibilities
- Oversee Farmer’s Fridges in-market Driver Team
- Manage Driver Performance and Discipline: Uphold and enforce all Farmers Fridge driver policies, administering discipline as needed in accordance with company guidelines. Provide consistent feedback through biweekly 1-on-1 meetings.
- Contribute to Staffing and Personnel Processes: Participate in the hiring process by interviewing and recommending candidates. Be involved in termination proceedings by recommending individuals for termination and attending necessary meetings.
- Fleet Maintenance and Safety Management
- Immediately address all vehicle safety concerns.
- Manage the scheduling of delivery vehicle maintenance, including:
- Scheduling preventive maintenance for the entire Farmer’s Fridge fleet.
- Tracking and monitoring maintenance costs associated with all repairs.
- Addressing all reefer issues within 24 hours to ensure food safety.
- Recommend vehicles for transition out of the fleet.
- Develop new process and train driver team
- Develop new processes to increase driver efficiency and driver safety
- Conduct driver training sessions on all new processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all Farmer’s Fridge driver and HR policies through routine retraining
