The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations, ensuring efficient route execution, on-time deliveries, and excellent customer service. This role leads and supports drivers and distribution staff while helping maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing operation. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have open availability, any 7 days of the week
  • Ability to work afternoons, nights, and overnight shifts (2nd/3rd shift)
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a distribution center setting
  • 2+ years of distribution driving experience
  • 2+ years of fleet safety and risk mitigation experience
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
  • Must pass a drug test (marijuana use is not permitted)
  • Must provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must pass a criminal background check(prior convictions are not automatic disqualifiers)
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with qualified applicants and make hiring decisions
  • Train new hires to meet company standards
  • Perform regular coaching with employees and enforce disciplinary action when necessary while maintaining the highest safety standards
  • Ensure the team consistently adheres to safety policies and best practices
  • Be available to answer employee questions, assist with vehicle breakdowns, and respond to accidents or injuries
  • Assist with staffing shortages by driving routes when needed
  • Wash the interior and exterior of fleet vehicles
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections and address any issues identified
  • Complete required reporting and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized Distribution Center at all times
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance such as mirror repairs, tire replacements, and cargo box door adjustments or repairs
  • Coordinate with outside mechanics and vendors for major repairs and maintenance when necessary
