The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations, ensuring efficient route execution, on-time deliveries, and excellent customer service. This role leads and supports drivers and distribution staff while helping maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing operation. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development and operational excellence.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Must have open availability, any 7 days of the week
Ability to work afternoons, nights, and overnight shifts (2nd/3rd shift)
2+ years of supervisory experience
2+ years of experience in a distribution center setting
2+ years of distribution driving experience
2+ years of fleet safety and risk mitigation experience
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
Must pass a drug test (marijuana use is not permitted)
Must provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must pass a criminal background check(prior convictions are not automatic disqualifiers)
Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Conduct interviews with qualified applicants and make hiring decisions
Train new hires to meet company standards
Perform regular coaching with employees and enforce disciplinary action when necessary while maintaining the highest safety standards
Ensure the team consistently adheres to safety policies and best practices
Be available to answer employee questions, assist with vehicle breakdowns, and respond to accidents or injuries
Assist with staffing shortages by driving routes when needed
Wash the interior and exterior of fleet vehicles
Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections and address any issues identified
Complete required reporting and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized Distribution Center at all times
Perform minor vehicle maintenance such as mirror repairs, tire replacements, and cargo box door adjustments or repairs
Coordinate with outside mechanics and vendors for major repairs and maintenance when necessary
