Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
3+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations required.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing and occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching/stooping.
Full use of upper extremities in the manipulation of materials used in the production processes.
Warehouse is not temperature controlled.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, drivers, and distribution staff.
Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating staff to achieve performance targets.
Lead daily operations within the warehouse.
Promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem-solving.
Track daily performance and present results during morning GEMBA walks.
Ensure a safe working environment by supporting/leading safety programs.
Drive out waste through Lean methodology.
Prepare performance reports and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
