About The Position

As an operations supervisor at our Wegmans Warehouse, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks and executing daily warehouse operations. You will oversee a team of employees in various roles who are responsible for receiving vendor products and picking orders that will be delivered to our stores. Requirements

• 2 or more years of previous experience leading a team
• Computer skills
• Must be 18 years or older

• Previous distribution center/warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks and execute plans to meet productivity standards
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate productivity status to team
• Hold employees accountable for performance through clear expectations of duties and results
• Ensure cold chain and food safety initiatives are followed, keep food fresh and ensure the highest quality product reaches our stores
• Identify ways to improve operations including reducing expenses, managing inventory, and increasing efficiency and productivity
• Meet the established goals for productivity by making sure that individual and departmental tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently
