Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
• Overall fluency in the English language both written and spoken.
• Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
• Strong Communication (Oral, Written, Presentation).
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications such as those included in Microsoft Office.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily with the Department Supervisor, the requirements for their respective departments -- receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and Vas.
• Helps to implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improved quality of service within each department.
• Under the guidance and direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Supervisor Trainee will help support, communicate, and enforce all policies/procedures to hourly associates to include safety, attendance, quality, and performance.
• Contributes with implementing safety protocols to help ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Reports and addresses safety issues immediately.
• Assist in completion of all required reports and paperwork.
• Performs all duties listed above as well as any other job-related duties as assigned.
• Helps in creating a positive work environment for employees and assists supervisor in maintaining high engagement and morale.
