About The Position

The Supervisor Trainee will coordinate daily with the Department Supervisor, the requirements for their respective departments -- receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and Vas. They will help implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve quality of service within each department. Under the guidance and direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Supervisor Trainee will help support, communicate, and enforce all policies/procedures to hourly associates to include safety, attendance, quality, and performance. The role also contributes to implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and reports and addresses safety issues immediately. Additionally, the Supervisor Trainee will assist in the completion of all required reports and paperwork and perform all duties listed above as well as any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
  • Overall fluency in the English language both written and spoken.
  • Strong Communication (Oral, Written, Presentation).
  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications such as those included in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
