About The Position

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for leading the distribution team to ensure that safety, quality, packaging, receipt, and shipment standards are met while achieving operational goals. This role involves managing the distribution department budget, enhancing site infrastructure, and ensuring that associates are equipped with the necessary tools and training to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• May require certification.
• An advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety, productivity, and quality in all distribution operations.
• Designs, develops, and manages the distribution department budget.
• Refurbishes and enhances site infrastructure and equipment to support growth and objectives.
• Builds maintenance performance metrics and trains staff to optimize performance and return on investment.
• Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
