About The Position

The Distribution Staff position at Tailored Brands involves multiple functions related to receiving and processing incoming merchandise in a warehouse environment. The role is essential for maintaining inventory controls, ensuring quality checks, and organizing the warehouse to facilitate efficient operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in receiving merchandise in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, flexible, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to interact and maintain a positive work environment with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
• Good communication, time management, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to take on new tasks and work in all areas of production.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming merchandise.
• Assist with unloading trailers and auditing merchandise.
• Scan merchandise price tickets from RF unit.
• Apply bar code generated tags to each piece of merchandise.
• Prepare and process the movement of merchandise throughout the distribution.
• Apply tags or other information to merchandise.
• Place merchandise or items on trollies to be sorted.
• Assist with inventory controls by counting all merchandise.
• Maintain quality checks on tags and printer equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment and machinery, including conveyor systems, sorter systems, RF guns, and other materials necessary for production and packaging.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.
