About The Position

The Distribution Specialist plays a crucial role in the Supply Chain Operations team at MultiCare Health Systems. This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the maintenance of supplies and patient care equipment, directly contributing to the quality of healthcare experiences for patients and families. The role involves resolving requests and inquiries related to supply distribution, making it essential for the smooth operation of healthcare services.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred.
• Computer input/keyboard experience desired.
• Computerized Materials Management system experience preferred.
• Experience in using electronic signature software preferred.
• Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials and receipts documentation against purchase orders and input purchase order receipts.
• Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies.
• Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping.
• Supply stores stock supplies within its designated Distribution Storeroom location.
