About The Position

As a Site Leader you'll be part of our team located in Northlake TX. You'll get to manage to ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas, efficient operations of warehouse management system(s) and related equipment, inventory is received appropriately and efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse, proper layout of warehouse and product placement, and proper maintenance and organization of all warehouse areas. You will evaluate the effectiveness of processes and recommend alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls, technologies and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product; manage to ensure warehouse layout is optimally aligned for maximum efficiency. You will be responsible for meeting the financial, operational, people and process and service-related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve; lead associates, and peers to anticipate and solve problems and plan for upcoming events. You will drive a safety culture throughout the organization by adhering to safety policies and procedures - monitor DC safety, physical security and operational metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Additionally, you will maintain a union free work environment by creating an employee-centered workplace that demonstrates care and concern for all Associates.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of functional experience leading a fast-paced distribution center.
  • Broad background in distribution/network strategies, technologies, and operations.
  • Experience in high volume line and SKU count order picking environment.
  • Proven history of leadership in Distribution/Logistics Operations and Transportation Management.
  • Experience with Red Prairie Discrete WMS or equivalent WMS driven DC environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain.
  • Proven track record of change management.
  • Quality and ISO 9001 background experience preferred.
