About The Position

The Distribution Shift Lead position involves overseeing warehouse operations during the G shift from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. Employees will work 3 to 4 days a week, totaling 36 to 48 hours. The role requires proficiency with the Scan gun and JDE System, assisting in the receipt and storage of incoming raw materials, and understanding Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork. The lead will analyze data, recognize discrepancies, and understand cycle count procedures. Responsibilities include performing material handling, receiving, and shipping functions, participating in year-end audits, and training others for forklift certifications. Flexibility in hours and the ability to work overtime are essential, along with maintaining outstanding attendance and communication with team members about warehouse issues.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and guidelines.
• Knowledge of warehouse, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Good understanding of JDE to verify transactions and assist with corrections.
• Forklift and Clamp Truck experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System.
• Assist in receipt and storage of incoming BN raw materials.
• Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork.
• Analyze data and recognize discrepancies.
• Understand cycle count procedures.
• Perform all material handling/receiving/shipping functions.
• Participate in year-end audits at BN.
• Become a 'Train the Trainer' for forklift certifications.
• Maintain outstanding attendance.
• Work flexible hours to cover as needed.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Assist teams where needed.
• Communicate with team and departments about warehouse issues.
• Responsible for discipline, scheduling, and reviews.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Help direct teams to keep the warehouse 'Tour Ready' at all times.
• Wear PPE as required for the job.
