About The Position

The Forklift Distribution Operator is responsible for properly receiving and warehousing incoming finished goods, bulk cheese, and warehouse products. The role involves assembling products for outbound disposition to customers while meeting their requirements. The operator will utilize computerized terminals to assist with handling these products and must be able to cover Bulk for support when needed. The position requires collaboration with leaders and fellow partners to ensure food safety and partner safety, executing standard operating procedures, performing all required PCP checks, and recording accurate data on production reports.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Satisfactory completion of Forklift training and maintain forklift operator license.
  • Complete all Job Specific Safety Training including LOTO and JHA.
  • Proficient in distribution operations and order picking up to 50Lb cases.
  • Understanding of RF unit and data entry for inventory adjustments.
  • Proficient in GMP's and all QSP's concerning distribution.
  • Ability to communicate food safety requirements.
  • Understanding of legal requirements of a Bill of Lading.
  • Ability to complete Over Short and Damage paperwork.
  • Working knowledge of all Distribution Center equipment.
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift experience (6 months minimum).
  • Ability to learn and operate computerized data entry systems.
  • Must be viewed as a team player.

Responsibilities
