About The Position

This person will be primarily responsible for completion of all facets of water system distribution and maintenance work. Including but not limited to gate valve exercising, hydrant maintenance, meter reading, water distribution system and facility maintenance, and interaction with the public.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• A minimum of three years related experience and/or training
• Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grade 2D Drinking Water Distribution license or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months from date of hire
• Basic mathematical skills are required for this position
• Basic computer experience is required
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen
• Valid US Driver's License
