About The Position

The Distribution Operations Manager at Newell Brands is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Outbound and Inbound departments within the distribution center. This role involves training warehouse personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The manager will also evaluate and manage equipment and resources to optimize workflow and achieve distribution goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or a similar field preferred.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification and valid state-issued driver's license required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Experience with PkMS and SAP related to job responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of Six-Sigma tools and methodology.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and process redesign skills.
• Excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Outbound and Inbound departments.
