As a Finance/ IT Intern at one of our Distribution or Fulfillment Centers nationwide, you will Discover Different from day one—playing an active part in the daily operations of a multi-million-dollar distribution center. For 12 weeks during the summer, you will join our Distribution or Fulfillment Finance/ IT team and touch every part of our business. Financial strength helps us to be agile, adaptable, and ultimately, to grow the business. That’s where you come in! Throughout the summer you’ll be exposed to professional development, networking, and volunteer events to provide you with a well-rounded TJX experience. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a process improvement project and give a final presentation to Distribution executive team members upon the completion of your internship Through this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to: / Learn how to plan, balance, and forecast a financial budget for a multi-million-dollar operation / Learn from and shadow TJX finance and distribution/fulfillment leaders / Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of our off-price business model / Participate and contribute to process improvement initiatives Who We Are Looking For: It Just Might Be You. We are seeking to find strong, curious leaders who never stop looking to grow their financial literacy and analytical talents while driving business within a warehouse environment Specifically, we’re looking for: / Candidates with a genuine interest in a long-term career within our worldwide logistics operation / Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or students enrolled in 2-year degree program / Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business majors preferred but not required / Available for the full duration of the internship program during the summer of 2024 / Strong analytical thinkers with sophisticated problem-solving skills / Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills / The confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment / An entrepreneurial drive, strong worth ethic, and business acumen / Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule depending on business needs Post Internship: We’ve Got Big Plans For You. This position has a starting pay range of $23.50 to $25.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Requirements
