About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Distribution Material Handler - 1st shift to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota! The scheduled working hours are Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. In this role you are responsible for receiving, pulling, and distributing components to assemblers to produce finished product necessary to fill customer orders. We Offer You! Scan receiving documents and sort the incoming or outgoing orders. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries. Coordinate and collaborate with the department team to ensure seamless operations. Works in a safe manner to efficiently support the fulfillment of customer orders.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing operations.
Minimum of 3 years’ shipping and receiving forklift experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of basic math: addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Nice To Haves

SAP knowledge is preferred.
