About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Distribution Manager for our Senior Living business to oversee Assembly, Distribution, and Order Management operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production processes, seamless distribution, and effective order fulfillment while driving strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a data-driven approach, and a deep understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and order management processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain technologies, and data analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements.
  • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production demands.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure timely and efficient distribution of products to meet customer and market demands.
  • Optimize logistics strategies, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and negotiate contracts.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the supply chain to improve overall efficiency.
  • Oversee order processing from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to align order fulfillment with customer expectations.
  • Implement systems and tools to track and manage orders effectively.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate order fulfillment performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and scalability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for manufacturing, distribution, and order management functions.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to manufacturing, distribution, and order management.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures across all operations.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions.
