About The Position
The Distribution Manager at Mint Cannabis is responsible for overseeing and managing various distribution functions within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that the distribution processes align with compliance standards set by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS). The manager will serve as a key resource for operations and compliance issues, providing support for human resource functions and contributing to the development of unit systems and processes. The position acts as a liaison between distribution and sister stores, ensuring that inventory is responsibly stocked and audited to meet business needs. In this role, the Distribution Manager will intake products from third-party vendors, ensuring that all processes adhere to AZDHS compliance standards. The manager will verify and input testing data to maintain compliance and provide flexible administrative support to enhance productivity. Effective internal communication with staff and management is essential, as is the ability to maintain and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for distribution. The manager will also assist with employee scheduling, hiring, and onboarding, fostering a positive work culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration. The Distribution Manager will be involved in bi-weekly compliance audits to ensure efficiency across all departments. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and employee relations, with a focus on inventory and product distribution.
