The individuals selected for this position are responsible for managing the daily warehouse operation function, customer order fulfilment functions and associated processes/procedures. provide an extraordinary service for both internally, to all areas of the business, and external customers. Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily.
  • State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Spec’s.
  • 1-2 years of Operations Manager or relevant role, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • high school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
  • be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos.
  • You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
  • knowledgeable of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • be able to create scheduling and delegating tasks, plan meetings, share and configuring calendars electronically.
  • You need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus.
  • You need to be responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service.
  • Patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality are needed for success.
  • You need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.
  • You should be proficient in conflict resolution, leadership, time, and priority management and have reliable high integrity.
  • You should have the ability to work as part of the team, have a professional appearance and attitude.
  • You should have the ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Knows and actively demonstrates daily our Company Mission Statement and our Core Values
  • Recruits, hires, and ensures training of new warehouse employees.
  • Ensures all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-efficient way.
  • Monitor supervisors and associate’s productivity and performance expectations
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Able to delegate and prioritize essential job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to learn and perform subordinates job descriptions included but not limited to warehouse supervisors and wholesale associates
  • Maintain and teach organization skills for the success the team
  • Responsible for maintaining production, productivity, quality, and extraordinary customer service
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and forecast workload for the facility
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing processes and procedures.
  • Prepares and implements production and quality plans based around customer service standards
  • Responsible for maintenance and training for all industrial equipment
  • Partner with HR and upper management for employee coaching and training
  • Create and review weekly or by-weekly schedule for all associates.
  • Monitor and supervise associate’s attendance and punctuality.
  • Availability to travel to local and state facilities as required.
  • Efficiently carrying out all the directives given by upper management.
  • Ensures a clean workplace
  • Working in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA
  • Possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the day
  • Attendance and Timeliness is required.
